HELLO....I mean HO, HO, HO!
Just six more days ‘til PARTY!
Hope that the snow holds off and we see many of you in Germantown Wednesday Dec. 14.
Quilted Bear Restaurant, just west of Germantown, and just east of 41/45.
6pm cocktails, 7 pm dinner.
Bring your FINISHED brown bag exchange fat quarter (now in gift form of course)

Forgot to mention: Joan & Colleen took our finished orphan quits to Kathy Hospice. The ladies there were tickled pink to see all of the WONDERFUL things that we were able to make out of the guild orphan blocks. If you had anything to do with this endeavor...pat yourself on the back and smile- because you certainly will be bringing smiles to the people at Kathy Hospice.
They certainly need a little something to smile about! Keep these souls in your prayers this Christmas.

We had two ladies visit this past month, Barb (contacted us over the internet) and Chris, Lola’s friend. The ladies expressed an interest in joining the guild. Welcome!

We have cash, and we know how to spend it!! Norma is willing to do the legwork to find speakers and workshops for our guild members!

We are still looking for a few people to fill in spots on our committees. Louanne is bringing new ideas as the new chairperson; we are also looking for an assistant and a new person to do the newsletter. SILENT AUCTION/SPRING CLEANING: Start cleaning up your sewing area; bagging up all of the things that you don’t want to see! 3 bag MAX.QUILT SHOW ATTENDANCE: Attendance was down a little bit this year, but we were able to host a great show.
WORKERS FOR QUILT SHOWS:
It has been discussed that we “hire” local high school students for a “fee” to be put towards their fundraising efforts for their clubs.
MEETING LOCATION:
It looks like we will continue at our present location for the near future…
SEWING IN TANZANIA:
