SEW- What’s Next??

We are in need of volunteers for our leadership positions…Joan L will resume her role as 2011  President if no one volunteers- but we should be able to come up with a candidate for this position and for open spots on other committees.

The Quilt Show committee is on the hunt for new meat! (Year #20 coming up)

Make the commitment to finishing a few…

 (This encouragement is not applicable to those who always finish projects)

Oh if we could all be like Helen!!

Is there some technique that you would like to try?

Do you know a charity that needs our help?- monetary or donations of fabrics / quilts

Can you recommend a speaker, demonstrator, workshop, or book?

Can you be a part of making our guild better, more helpful, and continually inspirational?

If everyone does a little,

we all gain a lot!!

Ray from “Frank’s Sewing Center” will be our guest speaker in February. Come hear what he has to say about keeping your sewing machines up and running!

ARE THERE THINGS YOU’D LIKE TO TRY? Make a list of things that you’ve always wanted to try as a quilter- it’s much easier to attack a new project with a friend or two. How about relying on your quilt guild buddies? If we can’t do something, we’ll find someone who can teach it to us!
